GULF COAST

The Gulf Coast is a bird watchers paradise. Blessed with white-sand beaches at Gulf Shores and Orange Beach, this region teems with natural beauty. Beaches, birding trails, and state parks line the coastline from Bladon Springs and Atmore, Spanish Fort and Gulf Shores. The Alabama Coastal Birding Trail, a combination of six trails that skirt the delta of Mobile Bay, provides endless days of wildlife viewing. Visit Dauphin Island, on the southern coast, for historic homes and lush beaches.
