Florida Camping and RVing Travel Guides

NORTH CENTRAL

Florida

The north Central Region of Florida is dominated by two college towns Tallahassee and Gainesville. Tallahassee is the state capital and home of the FSU Seminoles. Think deep southern charm, live oak dripping with spanish moss, that’s Tallahassee. Gainesville is all that with a dash more wilderness and nature. Gainesvill is home of the U of F Gators. And you guessed it - during college football season these towns are bitter rivals.

On the Coast is Cedar Key with it’s laid-back southern style, where as they say "even the fish are on island time" is a through back to the old Florida. Florida the way it was before Miami Vice and snow birds. Grab a tall cold one and amble on out to the pier and drop a line...you might just catch something.
