Dog's Guide to Phoenix, Arizona

Phoenix, Arizona is a great place to travel with your pet. However, there are a few things you need to be aware of when planning a trip with a pet to this city. The summers in Phoenix get very hot during the day. It gets so hot that most people don't spend any time outside during the day. Early mornings and evenings are the times when the heat becomes bearable enough to be outside. When traveling with pets, it is probably best to plan your vacation during fall, winter, or spring rather than summer.

In addition, if you are traveling during the summer, remember to keep yourself and your pet well hydrated. Make sure you have a cool area for your pet to rest in, since your dog can't cool off by taking off layers. Another important thing to remember when traveling with a pet is that many restaurants are only allowed to have pets in outdoor areas, and during the summer it may be too hot to eat outside. With these issues in mind, Phoenix can be a great place to enjoy a vacation with your pet.
