Sandpoint:
Pend Oreille Lake (Idaho's largest lake. Boating, fishing, swimming, beach sports). Try City Beach at the end of Bridge St., off Hwy 95 (downtown).
Coolin:
Priest Lake State Park (rafting, fishing, boating, golf, huckleberry picking, winter sports) Take Hwy 57 north from Hwy 2 and the Pend Oreille River. 208-443-2512
