Minnesota Camping and RVing Travel Guide

SOUTHERN

Minnesota
SOUTHERN

From the farmland of the west to the river bluffs of the east, you’ll find plenty to do in southern Minnesota. Watch a herd of bison cross the prairie at Blue Mounds, or look for blue grosbeaks and wildflowers. See the rare white pelicans on Albert Lea Lake at Myre-Big Island, and stay to hike through the oak savanna and prairie grasslands. At Lac qui Parle, you’ll see why it got its name as the "lake that speaks." Hundreds of geese and waterbirds honk and clack as they rest on the surface. Fish for walleye, crappie, perch, and northerns.
