Nebraska Camping and RVing Travel Guide

Nebraska
The Golden Prairie
Come wander the grasslands and prairie of Nebraska. From the cliffs and bluffs along the Missouri River, to the badlands of the Panhandle, this state has something for every visitor. Fish in one of its many lakes for walleye, bass, and pike. Take a hike through old prairie, or through riverside brush, looking for wildlife as you go. Watch for foxes, badgers, porcupines, deer, and prairie dogs. In some parts you'll find bighorn sheep and pronghorns.
Whether you're exploring small towns, recreated historic sites, or one of the lakes and reservoirs, keep your eyes on the sky. You'll find raptors in Nebraska, such as bald eagles and hawks, and songbirds like warblers, tanagers, orioles, and buntings. In this wide-open land, you can walk in the footsteps of the Pony Express, Kit Carson, Lewis and Clark, and the Oregon Trail pioneers.
